Instruction for Oral and Poster Presentations

Instruction for Oral Presentation

1. TIME ALLOCATION FOR PRESENTATION

The time allowed for each speaker of contributed presentations is 25 minutes, which includes 5 minutes for Q&A.

2. EQUIPMENT FOR PRESENTATION

Oral presentations should be basically presented by your own PC.
To check your presentation data, please bring your PC to an operation desk in the conference room at least during breaks before your session starts.
Leave your PC on the operation desk until your presentation. Please make sure that the power-saving features are deactivated such as cancellation of sleep mode, screen saver, password, etc.

However conference room is provided with one Windows laptop computer (Windows XP, PowerPoint2007, PDF format) with LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) projector. If you prefer to use them, please bring your presentation in CD-ROM or USB stick memory.

*All speakers are requested to operate the slide by themselves.

3. NEXT SPEAKER’S SEAT

At 20 minutes before your lecture starts, you are kindly requested to be seated at the Next Speaker’s seat located in the left front row.

Instruction for Poster Presentation

1. POSTER BOARDS

The Secretariat will supply you with a poster board.
Size: Width 180cm x Height 210cm
Recommended usable area: Width 170cm x Height 160cm (A0 size=Width84.1cm x Height 118.9cm)
Poster Number: A5 size (Provided by the Secretariat)
Posters should be displayed on the boards using pushpins that will be available at the Poster Session room.
No other adhesive method is permitted on the boards.

2. POSTER SESSION (TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 15:30-17:30)

All posters will be displayed at the Poster Session Rooms.
You are expected to attend the sessions to answer questions in front of your poster.
You are also responsible for setting up and removing your poster. The Secretariat will not be responsible for the loss of the poster after removal time.

3. SCHEDULE

Poster Set-Up: 8:30-11:50, Monday, June 7
Poster Session: 15:30-17:30, Tuesday, June 8
Poster Removal: 15:30-17:30, Wednesday, June 9
